We are a biological field research station located on the beautiful island of Dominica, in the West Indies. Springfield was generously donated to Clemson University in 1989 by the late John D. Archbold. This gift has enabled us to provide an ideal research location in the Caribbean.

With laboratory space, classroom facilities, wireless internet and acres of rainforested and agricultural land, we are uniquely equipped for scientists, student groups and naturalists alike!
